Leading our firm with over 10 years of experience in immigration law, Ewin Aponte is known for a strong track record in complex immigration cases. Ewin holds a Juris Doctorate from Ave Maria School of Law in Florida and a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City. As a proud member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and The Florida Bar, Ewin has successfully represented numerous clients in family-based petitions, employment visas, asylum cases, and deportation defense. His practice focuses on delivering tailored, comprehensive legal services to individuals, families, and employers navigating the often daunting U.S. immigration system. Known for his unwavering dedication to client needs and a commitment to staying current with the latest developments in immigration law, Ewin has become a trusted advocate in the field.
Born in the Dominican Republic, Ewin's personal immigration experience fuels his passion for helping others achieve their American Dream. This unique perspective allows him to resonate deeply with his clients' emotional journeys. For Ewin, community outreach and engagement is an integral part of being an immigration attorney. As such, even before he was an official attorney, Ewin volunteered at the Asylum and Immigrant Rights Law Clinic in order to help and support students who needed guidance on the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) policies. Ewin's commitment to justice and access to legal counsel was recognized when he received the Michael Maggio Pro Bono Honoree Award from AILA for his efforts in fighting to end family detention. Additionally, he has been honored as a 2024 Florida Rising Star by Super Lawyers, an honor reserved for only 2.5% of attorneys in Florida for exhibiting excellence in practice.
